Comparing AI vendors is hard because they all sound the same in sales pitches. This scorecard gives you a systematic, objective way to evaluate and compare vendors. Score each vendor against the criteria below, multiply by the weight, and total the scores.
How to Use This Scorecard
Rate each criterion from 1-5, then multiply by the category weight to get a weighted score. Compare total scores across your shortlisted vendors.

Calculating Your Scores
Average the scores for all items within each category
Multiply each category average by its weight (e.g., 4.2 x 25% = 1.05)
Add up all weighted scores for a total out of 5.0
Compare totals across vendors. Anything above 3.5 is strong. Below 2.5 is a concern.
Don't just pick the highest score. Read the notes. A vendor scoring 4.0 overall but 2.0 on security might be a bigger risk than a 3.5 overall with consistent scores.
